This is an old classic Shrine Circus clown unit lapel pin.  It features a gorgeous Circus elephant with a detailed Shrine emblem and Fez on its decorations.  Approx 1 1/4 inches in size and has fantastic color and detail..  It has a pin back and comes with a butterfly clutch.
